COME TO EAT AT THE DEGVSTA!

The offer of the Degvsta gastronomic space continues to grow, now with a proposal aimed at the general public that will allow you to eat in a unique place, surrounded by vineyards, and with a modern cuisine that is rooted in the Roman tradition. We are launching a new lunch menu, available from Wednesday to Friday, which will allow you to enjoy a complete experience at an even more affordable price.

The new menu is priced at €29 and includes a two-course meal and dessert (with starters to share), bread and two glasses of Avgvstvs wine. A new option that allows us to diversify the offer of the Degvsta gastronomic space, which we launched two years ago with the gastronomic advice of chef Jordi Guillem. A place where you can try the latest trends in cuisine with a leading role for Avgvstvs Forvm products: the bittersweet vinegars ideal for preparing recipes and the varied family of Penedès wines that offer multiple pairing options.

A special place to enjoy

Both the menu and the other dishes on the Degvsta menu can be enjoyed in the winery’s flagship facilities in El Vendrell: the Sala Entrevinyes. An open-plan space that will surprise you with its glass walls, allowing you to eat while you look out over the views of our vineyards, the picturesque town of Sant Vicenç de Calders and the Mediterranean Sea in the background.

To be able to eat with this new menu, it is simply necessary to make a reservation at the Degvsta gastronomic space. To order this menu it is not necessary to meet a minimum number of diners, as it is designed for small committee meals, company meetings for which a special location is sought, or even as a complement to some of the visits to the Penedès winery that we offer in our range of wine tourism experiences near Tarragona.

Modern gastronomy with roman roots

The dishes selected for the new lunch menu offer a sample of the recipes prepared by Jordi Guillem, representative of the new trends in cuisine but inspired by the recipe book of the 2,000-year-old Roman Apicius. The menu includes two starters to share per table, a main course to choose from a selection of four dishes (with two fish and two meat options), and dessert. In all the recipes you will find a clear protagonism of the products of the territory and, of course, of the vinegars and wines of Avgvstvs Forvm, which, in many cases, are central ingredients of the elaborations.

With this novelty, we continue to expand the offer of the Degvsta gastronomic space, which recently launched a new closed menu for groups that is being very well received by our visitors.
