Degvsta Restaurant
We produce nearly 100,000 bottles annually, crafted with the utmost respect for the land and a firm commitment to quality.
We work with a selection of indigenous and international varieties that allow us to craft wines with a distinct identity. Indigenous varieties include Xarel·lo, Macabeo, Garnacha, Tempranillo, and Malvasía de Sitges. As for international varieties, we grow Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Sauvignon Blanc. Our style is characterized by freshness, natural acidity, and a pronounced Mediterranean expression.
Our style combines freshness, natural acidity, and Mediterranean expression.
The uniqueness of our wines stems from their setting. Proximity to the sea—just 3 km away—and the influence of the Mediterranean air corridor foster slow grape ripening, preserving freshness and balance. Furthermore, we employ micro-vinification techniques that allow us to explore the potential of each plot and variety, crafting wines with a distinctive Penedès identity.
Sustainability is part of the way we work. We hold organic certification and implement responsible practices in both the vineyard and the winery to respect the environment and our surroundings.
You can purchase our Avgvstvs wines through our online store (with shipping to mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands), directly at the winery, or at specialty stores.
If you are abroad, our wines are available through our network of official importers.
Wine Cellar
FORVM vinegar is an internationally renowned vinegar thanks to a unique combination of quality, tradition, and culinary recognition. For 13 consecutive years, it has been served at the Nobel Prize banquets; it is used by haute cuisine chefs and culinary schools around the world; and it is made exclusively from high-quality wines. Its aging through the solera system and in oak barrels, for a period ranging from 3 to 30 years, gives it exceptional complexity. Currently, FORVM vinegars are available in more than 40 countries.
FORVM Chardonnay: Fine, aromatic, elegant (fish, vegetables, light viaigrettes).
FORVM Cabernet: Deep, notes of ripe fruit, coffee, and chocolate (white meats, roasts, reductions).
FORVM Merlot ECO: Lively and fruity, purplish hue (salads, cold dishes, creative cuisine).
The new oil FORVM bottle stands out for its design, inspired by Roman amphorae, which is more ergonomic and durable. It also features markings to make it easy to prepare vinaigrettes, a pour spout to control the flow, and more sustainable packaging designed to reduce its environmental impact.
You can buy FORVM products in our online store for Spain, directly from the winery, or at specialty gourmet shops. For international purchases, we work with an official network of importers.
FORVM olive oil
Our FORVM olive oil is made from 100% Arbequina olives and is stored at a low temperature year-round to preserve its aromas and nuances. It stands out for its fruity profile and a natural balance between sweetness and a subtle hint of spiciness. It is ideal for salads, fish, vegetables, and for pairing with FORVM vinegars.
FORVM olive oil is available in 500-ml bottles and 5-liter Bag-in-Box containers. The latter is ideal for both heavy-duty and professional use, as it better protects the oil from light and oxidation, extends its shelf life, reduces packaging waste, and offers a more efficient and sustainable option.

Sustainability: Biosphere and SWfCP (Sustainable Wineries for Climate Protection)
The Biosphere certification attests to our commitment to a model of sustainable tourism and production. We continuously implement and improve best practices aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda in areas such as the environment, climate action, society, culture, local development, governance, and the economy.
The SWfCP (Sustainable Wineries for Climate Protection) certification is the benchmark for sustainability among wineries, promoted by the FEV. It evaluates four fundamental pillars: the environment, social responsibility, economic sustainability, and governance. It underscores our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint, promoting water and energy efficiency, managing waste responsibly, protecting biodiversity, and implementing responsible and transparent governance policies
Sustainability translates into concrete actions and a process of continuous improvement. At our Avgvstvs Forvm winery, we use techniques such as mulching, which helps retain moisture and protect soil quality; we have our own weather station to optimize vineyard management; and we promote measures to use resources efficiently. As for our products, we are committed to more sustainable packaging formats, such as Bag-in-Box, which reduces waste, optimizes transportation, and helps minimize our environmental impact.
Heritage and Landscape: Dry Stone
Dry-stone construction is part of the Penedès’ historical and cultural heritage. Its stone huts and walls reflect the region’s long winemaking tradition and the close relationship between the landscape and agriculture. On some of our routes through the vineyards, we share this legacy with visitors as part of the wine tourism experience.
Events: Afternoon get-togethers and social activities
Avgvstvs Forvm’s “Tardeos” are outdoor evening events held among the vineyards, where wine, cuisine, and music come together in a unique setting. A relaxed experience to enjoy Avgvstvs wines, Degvsta’s culinary offerings, and the magic of the Mediterranean landscape at sunset. Space is limited, and advance reservations are required.
Yes. Throughout the year, we organize a wide variety of experiences and events, such as premium and vertical tastings, product presentations, corporate activities and meetings in the Sala Entrevinyes, culinary workshops—such as the xató-making class—and initiatives in collaboration with local partners in the region. All activities are designed to introduce visitors to the wine culture, cuisine, and heritage of the Penedès.

DO Penedès and the Region
The Penedès DO is one of Catalonia’s most iconic designations of origin, with a long winemaking tradition and a strong commitment to quality, the region, and native grape varieties. It spans the regions of Alt Penedès, Baix Penedès, Garraf, and other nearby areas, where vineyards, olive groves, farmhouses, and a rich cultural and scenic heritage coexist. This diversity makes the Penedès a premier destination for wine tourism and exploring its wines.
Our proximity to the Mediterranean and its sea breezes bring freshness, balance, and a unique character to our wines. At the same time, the historic Via Augusta enriches the landscape with a valuable cultural legacy that connects heritage, the region, and winemaking tradition. Bicycle routes and ecotourism experiences offer a leisurely and sustainable way to discover the wineries, vineyards, and most iconic landscapes of the Penedès.
Gastronomy with FORVM Vinegars – Advanced Recipes and Uses
Rough 1:3 vinegar-to-oil ratio for balanced vianigrettes; adjust to 1:2 if you want more tang. Emulsify by adding the oil in a thin stream over FORVM + salt + pepper+ (optional) mustard. The new FORVM bottle features markings to help measure vinaigrette ingredients.
Reduce FORVM Cabernet with a touch of sugar or honey, cooking fat, and Mediterranean herbs until it reaches a nappe consistency. Ideal for roasted chicken, duck magret, or grilled eggplant. For delicate dishes, use FORVM Chardonnay.
Combine FORVM Chardonnay with citrus, FORVM Arbequina oil, cilantro, and a touch of chili to marinate white fish or langoustines. Use short marinating times (10-20 min) to preserve texture.
Saute garlic and bay leaf, add FORVM Cabernet, oil, and peppercorns; heat gently and pour over fish or sauteed vegetables. Let rest in the refrigerator and serve at room temperature so the aroma can open up.
Boil vinegar, water, sugar, salt and spices; pour over blanched vegetables (carrot, onion, cucumber) or fruits (strawberry, plum) for tangy, vibrant pickles.
Roman-style mayonnaise (egg, FORVM Arbequina oil, FORVM Chardonnay, roasted garlic); green pepper deglaze sauce with FORVM Cabernet; light “sweet and sour” romesco by adding a few drops of FORVM Merlot.
Strawberries macerated with FORVM Merlot and sugar; FORVM Chardonnay reduction over vanilla ice cream; 70% chocolate with a drizzle of FORVM Cabernet to enhance cocoa notes.
Prepare a “shrub” by mixing FORVM + sugar + fruit (e.g., pineapple or raspberries); let it steep, strain, and top with sparkling water or tonic. For acoholic versions, combine with vermouth or clear spirits.
