Our chef, Jordi Guillem, the creative soul of the Degvsta restaurant, joins the team that will represent Spain on the road to the Pastry World Cup. A step forward that reinforces Avgvstvs Forvm's commitment to talent and gastronomic excellence.

The World Pastry Cup, held every two years in Lyon (France), is the world’s most prestigious competition dedicated to pastry, chocolate and ice cream. It brings together the best teams on the international scene and has become the stage where creativity and innovation in the sector are defined.
After a long absence, Spain is once again presenting a team with its sights set on overcoming the qualifying rounds and fighting for a place in the 2027 final. A challenge that requires talent, rigour and a great passion for the sweet arts.
In Spain’s ambitious return to the competition, Jordi Guillem plays an essential role as team delegate and tasting judge.
At Degvsta, our restaurant, Jordi has established a career marked by creativity, constant research and a unique vision of sweet gastronomy. His recognition as vice-champion of the 2018 World Ice Cream Championship attests to his technical mastery and his ability to lead highly demanding projects.

Being part of this team is not only a key step in his professional career, but also a source of pride for our cellar Avgvstvs Forvm, which is supporting the project as a collaborator and as a home, from where Jordi drives much of his creative work.
The team is completed by three high-level figures:

Together they form a solid team that aims to reach the highest level in the competition.
If you want to discover first-hand the creativity, technique and sweet universe that Jordi also brings to the World Pastry Cup, we invite you to experience it for yourself. You can book your experience at the Degvsta restaurant, where every dish reflects the passion, rigour and excellence that characterise its cuisine.
