A differential seal that not only validates us as a winery committed to the environment, but also to our community and to the ethical values that guide our practices.
At Avgvstvs Forvm we are celebrating. The Spanish Wine Federation (FEV) has recognised the work of our winery in El Vendrell in terms of sustainability and has awarded us the SWFCP certificate. We are very proud of our family business, which has always been committed to improving our environmental practices, using more sustainable and environmentally friendly techniques. Recent initiatives such as the Mulching technique implemented in the winery or the installation of the weather station demonstrate our commitment to sustainability and the conservation of our environment.

On the environmental side, we have calculated our carbon footprint and are working to reduce it to zero emissions in the future. We have implemented measures to reduce water and electricity consumption, improve waste management and enhance biodiversity on our estate.
In social terms, our winery in El Vendrell has established an analysis and improvement of the relationship with workers and suppliers, with the territory and the closest organisations, and control and safety towards consumers. On the other hand, in the economic sphere, we have adopted a perspective of efficiency and continuous improvement.
Finally, in the area of governance, our winery in El Vendrell has implemented various initiatives to ensure transparent, ethical and responsible management: the implementation of an equality plan, a code of ethics and improvements in internal and external communication are examples of this commitment to good governance.
The Sustainable Wineries For Climate Protection (SWCP), developed by the FEV, is the first certification created specifically for wineries in the wine sector. It shows the sustainability of an organisation through external verification and, in addition to the environment, it also assesses social, economic and governance aspects from 2023. Based on continuous improvement, it requires a specific plan for each area, verified every two years through an external audit.
