In 2022 we have managed to multiply the number of visitors to Avgvstvs Forvm and the interest in our wines and vinegars. All this in a year in which we have reformulated the wine tourism offer and we have bet even more on gastronomy.
More and more people want to share with us their passion for the vineyard and its products and are joining our wine tourism experiences. At Avgvstvs Forvm we have closed 2022 with a substantial increase in the number of visitors to our winery, a milestone that encourages us to continue offering new proposals to share our work and tradition.
2022 has been a year full of challenges for the wine tourism proposals in the Penedès that we offer at Avgvstvs Forvm. After several years of growth in this sector, and after the impact of a pandemic, at the winery of Vendrell we decided it was time to rethink our offer of visits to the winery. A change with new names, new proposals, more products to taste and other novelties that has been very well received by the public.
At Avgvstvs Forvm we celebrate the good figures for wine tourism visits over the past year, which have not only attracted more people, but also people with an even greater interest in our work and products. This has meant that more visitors have taken advantage of their visit to the winery to buy our Penedès wines or some of our Forvm bittersweet vinegars, a result that makes us even more proud of our production and, above all, of the dedication of the staff who make up the Avgvstvs Forvm family.
During this year, one of the main ingredients in our wine tourism experiences in Tarragona has undoubtedly been gastronomy. On the one hand, because we have noticed that our visitors are increasingly looking for more complete visits that go beyond the classic options and take them into the world of gastronomy, an option that we at Avgvstvs Forvm can offer through our luxury ambassadors: our Forvm vinegars, used by prestigious chefs from all over the world to prepare recipes with vinegar. A family that has recently been completed with the addition of Forvm Oil, the perfect complement to satisfy all kinds of palates.
But, on the other hand, we can’t forget one of the great achievements of this 2022: the gastronomic offer of the Degvsta Restaurant. About to celebrate its second birthday, Avgvstvs Forvm’s gastronomic space has become an essential part of our wine tourism experiences, a role that we hope will grow even more this year with new features such as the launch of the new closed menu for lunch on weekdays. From 1 February, the Degvsta Restaurant will add a closed menu for groups to its offer, which will allow us to offer a more flexible service in a unique space surrounded by vineyards, with views of the sea, and with all the facilities for access and parking.
