The countdown to the start of one of the great gastronomic events in the capital of Baix Penedés: La Xatonada Popular 2024. A new edition to be held during the weekend of February 24th and 25th, on the Rambla of El Vendrell, and which will be marked by an ambassador that we at the Bodega del Vendrell are particularly excited about: the director, oenologist and icon of Avgvstvs Forvm, Enric Roca.

Don’t miss the Xatonada Popular 2024, a multitudinous event where citizens from towns in the Penedès region take part in the 38th Competition of Master Xatonaires and the 37th Exhibition of Children’s Xatonaires – tastings and gastronomic proposals with local products.

As we announced a few months ago, our colleague, Enric Roca, officially received the title of new ambassador of the Xató Route, in recognition of his successful winemaking career. With more than 30 years of dedication, Enric Roca has played a very important role as oenologist and technical manager in our winery
From the Penedés winery, we are committed to quality and proximity proposals, and for this reason we are once again joining the Xatonada Popular 2024 on 24 and 25 February. An event where we will be present in the form of a stand on the Rambla del Vendrell, and where we will be selling Forvm and Avgvstvs. On the other hand, you will be able to taste a selection of our best wines by the glass
On Saturday, at 12:30 pm, and Sunday, at 12 noon, there will be a pairing of two wines and xató, with tickets on sale in advance at the CIT, at C/Dr. Robert. We look forward to sharing this gastronomic weekend with you and showing you everything that Avgvstvs Forvm has prepared in the heart of the Penedès.
